Kamel (Konchellah): serious charges against Bahrain

Kenyan born Youssef Saad Kamel (born as Gergory Konchellah) has come out with some more serious charges against the Bahrain Athletic Association.

"This is to inform you that I...have decided to revoke my residency with Bahrain with immediate effect,"  he said in a letter that he sent to Athletics Kenya.

Kamel accuses Bahraini federation also with encouraging him to lie about his age.

He has been representing Barhrain for several years.

It looks like both the Kenyan and the Bahraini authorities will have to take this issue very seriously and Kamel's letter has been forwarded to the IAAF as well.
