Krivoshapka 50.55 in Russian Championships

Hardly known 21-year-old Antonina Krivoshapka bettered her own world best 400m time of the year set on Friday, producing the finest performance of the 2nd day of the Russian Indoor Championships in Moscow.
“My gratitude goes to the sport authorities of my city who helped me a lot,” she said after she had received many congratulations for her 50.55. “I hope I'll have a chance to run under the national banner in the upcoming international events.”
Eleven champion titles were decided on the second day of the championships.
