Kenyan team to the World Cross
Leonard Patrick Komon and Pauline Korikwiang have wild card entries to the 24 member Kenyan team to the World Cross Country Championships in Amman.
“I have new hope after being considered on wild card. I want to win the gold, I will train hard to attain this target,” said Korikwiang, who already has a World cross country silver medal.

The composition of the Kenyan team:
Senior men (12km): Moses Mosop, Mathew Kisorio, Mark Kiptoo, Linus Chumba, Mang'ata Ndiwa, Leonard Komon.
Senior women (8km): 8km women - Florence Kiplagat, Ines Chenonge, Linet Masai, Linet Chepkurui, Ann Karindi, Pauline Korikwiang.
Junior men (8km): John Kemboi, Paul Tanui, Japhet Korir, John Chepkwony, Titus Mbishei, Charles Bett Chepkurui.
Junior women (6km): Mercy Cherono, Hilda Chepkemoi, Jackline Chepngeno, Jackline Chebii, Faith Chepngetich, Nelly Chebet.
