Ross the boss again - Australian Championships Day 2

Ross the boss again - Australian Championships Day 2

Joshua Ross has confirmed his return to the track, coming back from the ‘worst year of his life’ to take out the men’s 100m at the 87th Australian Athletics Championships.

The five-time national champion, who last year came close to quitting the sport, won the final event of the second day of the championships.

“As always I don’t know how I do it, I just did it. The old boss is back for business,” said  Ross. “I believe I haven’t even reached my potential yet so I’m going to keep building, keep training. I was born to run.”

In the women’s 100m, Olympic silver medallist hurdler Sally McLellan fell short of the coveted national record but stormed home to claim her fourth national title in the event.
