Pars remains unbeaten in 2009, Majewski beats Hoffa in Bydgoszcz

As expected, the men’s throws provided some of the major highlights of the Enea Cup meet in Bydgoszcz.
The reigning Olympic Shot Put champion Tomasz Majewski prevailed over the world season leader Reese Hoffa with 21.09, and another Beijing gold medalist Gerd Kanter narrowly beat Piotr Malachowski in the Discus Throw with 66.20, while the Hammer Throw saw a reversal of the Olympic 1-2 finish, with Krisztian Pars throwing 80.19 to beat Primoz Kozmus.
