Donato bounces back with world-leading 17.39m leap in Ancona

28 February 2010 – Ancona, Italy - Reigning European Indoor champion Fabrizio Donato leaped to a world-leading 17.39m victory in the Triple Jump on Sunday to highlight the Italian Indoor Championships in Ancona this weekend.
“I am back,” Donato said. “I started my preparation for this season last September. After being sidelined by a serious injury I promised myself to work harder than before to return to my best form. We have a great group of triple jumpers in Italy. This gives me extra motivation.”
