Dwight Thomas working to improve technique
Jamaica’s national 110m hurdles record holder, Dwight Thomas, is satisfied with his progress this season, but is working to improve on his technique.
Thomas said he is trying to get his technique better to stay the course with Cuban Dayron Robles and American David Oliver, the only two men to run faster than him this season.
Thomas, at last Saturday’s Sotteville-les-Rouen, the 2nd meeting of Alma Athlé Tour circuit in France, won the men’s 110m Hurdles contest in 13.38.
“I’m satisfied with my season so far,” he said while making reference to his consistency, adding “especially my places in every race.”
“My plan for the rest of the season is to run much faster. I’m still not impressed with my times this season as only two people – Robles and Oliver - have so far ran faster.”
