Majewski ready to rumble after shoulder surgery

Poland’s 2008 Olympic Games shot put champion Tomasz Majewski is back in training after surgery on his right shoulder surgery and is aiming to be better than ever in 2011.

“I finally want to break the 22-metre barrier,” said Majewski, who set a national record of 21.95m in Stockholm last year.

“I also want to get back on level terms with the Americans like Christian Cantwell and Reese Hoffa. They went over 22 metres last year, the good performances of my rivals doesn’t make me angry or worried, instead it acts as the best sort of motivation to get up to their level."
