Sweden’s Mohamed to move up to the marathon

Swedish steeplechase star Mustafa Mohamed, now 31, is looking to compete in the marathon event at the 2012 Olympic Games and could make his debut over the classic distance next year, the country’s head coach Stefan Olsson told local media last week.

“Musse will start his switch from the steeplechase to the marathon next year,” said Olsson.
